A Florida man was killed in a single-vehicle accident on State Road 356 near North Cherokee Lane in White County last week.

The Georgia State Patrol report stated that On Oct. 12 Wade Charles Jones, 59, of Bronson, Florida was riding his Harley Davidson when he failed to negotiate a curve, left the road and struck several trees.

Mr. Jones was pronounced dead at the scene.
