Sautee Nacoochee woman dies in single-vehicle accident

HABERSHAM COUNTY, Ga. — A Sautee Nacoochee woman was killed in a single-vehicle crash on Highway 17 Thursday around midday.
According to the Georgia State Patrol preliminary report, Kelly Renee Wymore, 58, died when her Toyota Tacoma pickup truck veered into the yard of a house on Highway 17 and Fred Pitts Road and struck a tree.
She was transported to Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville where she died of her injuries
Cleveland man faces charges after fatal crash

WHITE COUNTY, Ga. — Corson Gibbes, 25, of Gainesville has been charged with second-degree vehicular homicide and failure to maintain lane following Satuday’s head-on collision on Hwy. 115 east that killed a Cleveland man.
The crash occurred near Shenandoah Drive, between Black Road and Ga. 255 South when Maynor’s 2007 Hyundai Elantra sedan was traveling east on Ga. 115 and Gibbes’ Toyota Tacoma pickup truck failed to maintain his lane, crossed the centerline, and struck the sedan head-on according to the Georgia State Patrol accident report.
Robert Henry Maynor Jr, 35, of Cleveland was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Florida man killed in motorcycle mishap

A Florida man was killed in a single-vehicle accident on State Road 356 near North Cherokee Lane in White County last week.
The Georgia State Patrol report stated that On Oct. 12 Wade Charles Jones, 59, of Bronson, Florida was riding his Harley Davidson when he failed to negotiate a curve, left the road and struck several trees.
Mr. Jones was pronounced dead at the scene.
