Land use applications dominate the Board of Commissioners meeting Monday

WHITE COUNTY, Ga. — Land use applications will once again dominate the agenda when the White County Board of Commissioners meets on Monday April 25 at 4:30 p.m. in the County Administration Building on Helen Highway.
Commissioners will consider:
- The land use application to request a conditional use permit for Titus Rennie on 2.09 acres at 452 River Forest Run in Cleveland to be placed into the county’s short-term rental program;
- The land use application to request a conditional use permit for Lori Creek on 2.97 acres at 292 Spotted Fawn Lane in Cleveland to be placed into the county’s short-term rental program;
- The land use application to request a conditional use permit for Brandon and Autumn Thompson on 0.55 acres at 8 Taylor Road in Helen to be placed into the county’s short-term rental program;
- The land use application to request a conditional use permit for Ricardo Viton on1.04 acres at 72 Running Deer Road in Cleveland to be placed into the county’s short-term rental program;
The Board will also consider the purchase of two vehicles for the Sheriff’s Office, a grant application to the Georgia Department of Natural Resources Environmental Protection Division for a Scrap Tire Amnesty Day in White County and a resolution to ratify the White County Board of Elections By-Laws, amended in February 2022.
