WHITE COUNTY, Ga. – The White County Planning Commission will have a busy agenda, including nine variance requests to consider when it meets at 6 p.m. Tuesday, (Sept. 7) in the White County Senior Center, 1239 Helen Highway in Cleveland.

Variance requests

  • Bobbette Marks requests a variance from Section 14-133(g) for building setback requirements and Section 14-133(k) for square footage requirements in RV parks. Property is located at 1052 Mountain Shadows Drive in Cleveland in Mountain Lakes. Tax map and parcel 031F-084;
  • Juan Velasquez request a variance from Section 804 for building setback requirements. Property is located at 56 Taylor Road, Helen, GA, 30545. Tax map and parcel 042B-107. Total acreage is 4.07;
  • Larry Freeman requests a variance from Section 601 for access. Property is located at 9428 Duncan Bridge Road, Cleveland. Tax map and parcel 090-015. Total acreage is 6.60;
