Firefighters respond to rekindled fire on Bell Shadows

CLEVELAND, Ga. — On Thursday (June 6) White County and City of Cleveland firefighters were dispatched to a fire at a single-wide mobile home on Bell Shadows that rekindled from the previous day.

On arrival, there was smoke coming from the residence and upon further investigation, firefighters found that the ceiling portion of the kitchen was smoldering.

Fire personnel used about 250 gallons of water to extinguish the fire.
No one was in the home Thursday as the residents were displaced and already being lodged by Red Cross. No injuries were reported.

 

White County Fire investigator Jason Reed was called to the scene to determine fire cause and make his findings and is currently under investigation
