Cleveland women charged with armed robbery

News

CLEVELAND, Ga. – Captain Rick Kelley of the White County Sheriff’s Office reported today (April 26) that two Cleveland women were arrested this week and charged with the armed robbery of John Bridgers, also of Cleveland.

In a press release, Kelley said Jennifer Michelle Davis, 34, and Sonya Marie Fuller, 38, requested Bridgers come to Fuller’s residence on Skitts Mountain Road to tow a vehicle that was broken down and when he arrived at approximately 7:38 p.m. he was robbed at gunpoint.

Kelley said the victim is not a tow truck driver, but was an acquaintance of the suspects.

White County Sheriff’s Office Investigators responded to the address to follow up on the report and arrested Davis and Fuller. Both were charged with armed robbery and transported to the White County Detention Center where they are being held without bond. The investigation is ongoing.
