Senator David Perdue Applauds President Trump’s Move To Increase Access To Insurance
WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senator David Perdue (R-GA) comments on President Trump’s action today to provide Americans’ relief from Obamacare:
“President Trump has proven once again he is willing to take bold action, even when Congress won’t. This action today will bring relief to the millions of Americans unable to obtain affordable health insurance because of Obamacare. This law is collapsing under its own weight and hurting millions of Americans. It needs to be fully repealed. In the meantime, I applaud the President’s courage to take action and support this move emphatically.”

Senator David Perdue Discusses Tax Priorities On Fox Business
WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senator David Perdue (R-GA) spoke with Maria Bartiromo on Fox Business Network’s Mornings With Maria about President Trump’s efforts to overhaul the tax code to help middle-class families and make America more competitive.
Acting on Tax: “The first thing is to get this tax bill that the President wants passed. The reason we need this tax package is to get the economy growing again and to put people back to work.”
Driving A Solution: “Right now I’m moving on and trying to drive to a solution on tax. I’m really optimistic that we will get to a tax bill because this economy wants to turn. Consumer optimism is at a 16-year high right now. If we move on this tax fix, I believe we’ll see a nice rebound next year.”
Lowering Rates: “We have to get the corporate tax rate as low as we can. President Trump wants 15 percent and so do I.”
Investing Back Home: “We can clean up corporate welfare as we work on deductions, but the real thing is we’ve got to eliminate is the repatriation tax. There is between $2 and $3 trillion stuck overseas in U.S. profits. That money can come back into the country as a capital investment and create jobs.”
Solving Fiscal Problems: “Job one is get the economy going, then start working on these redundant agencies. I believe if we get tax done this year, the economy starts to work, then we can start saving social security, whose trust fund goes to zero in 17 years, and Medicare.”

Senator David Perdue Discusses President Trump’s Asia Trip On CNN
“President Trump has developed a consensus of support on North Korea and opening doors for a non-kinetic solution. We have to find a way to get through here.”
WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senator David Perdue (R-GA), a member of the Senate Armed Services Committee, spoke with Alisyn Camerota on CNN’s New Day about the recent tragedy in Sutherland Springs, Texas, and President Trump’s trip to Asia aimed at strengthening partnerships with these countries to denuclearize North Korea.
Answers From Air Force: “Our thoughts and prayers go out to the families in Texas, like they did in Nevada and earlier events. We want some answers. I agree with Senator McCain. We ought to find out what happened in the Air Force and why this information was not fed into the database. There are things we need to know and learn from.”
Non-Kinetic Solutions: “First of all this is a President engaging with the rest of the world after eight years of disengagement. He has developed a consensus of support on North Korea and opening doors for a non-kinetic solution. We have to find a way to get through here.”
Direct Talks With North Korea: “President Trump has intimated both publicly and privately that this would be in the cards. I’m convinced, though, that this is in the best interest of China and the United States to get together and find a common solution. I’m also excited that President Trump is intimating that he wants to talk to President Putin about this as well. Russia plays a major part in this.”

Short Takes – The Changing Political Landscape
Opinion November 29, 2017
The Changing Political Landscape
Despite the outward appearance of viability, trying desperately to raise funds to reclaim the Congress in 2018, the dysfunctional Progressive, Democrat Party is actually nearing its end. We’re on to ‘em! For all of that, so the GOP may be in the twilight of its existence if they continue to legislate with fear, govern with uncertainty and waste time maneuvering themselves, as individual politicians simply to keep their jobs in disregard of what’s best for America. There are exceptions. Georgia’s Senator David Perdue for one and Rep. Jody Hice for another.
We now learn the Democrat candidate for Governor of Florida has abandoned his party affiliation, not to become a Republican, but to run as an independent. A pox on both parties. That’s not a good sign. Trust is a fungible quality and once lost is rarely, if ever, regained.
America is at a turning point. We’ve allowed the Progressive Socialist to ruin what was once America while we casually accepted the “collectivism” type of government that never works. The solution comes when we realize our plight and work to understand the gift that is our Constitution, protect it and make sure that any new politicians who want to face the challenge, do so within the rule of law, not personal enrichment. How did Senator Mitch McConnell manage to accumulate $55 million in personal wealth if he wasn’t a swamp dweller? I’m just asking?
Political restoration Is a slow process requiring time, joint efforts and funds but, it must be done or Reagan’s “Shining City on the Hill,” dream, the beacon for hopeless people everywhere, will flicker out and the world will be plunged into darkness for a thousand years and the word “Freedom” will only be understood as willful compliance with the state.
The forces of the Left are arraying themselves against us. Conservative candidates are under attack with slanders, false accusations and innuendos of perversion, sexual assaults and pedophilia. Why? Because, when challenged, the Left have no arguments that can prevail against, truth, justice and the Constitution. Therefore, they must try to kill the messenger.
Judge Roy Moore, Republican candidate for Alabama Senator, represents a clear and present danger to the existing, corrupt forces of the DC political elites or, more simply, the swamp. Poll takers, including Fox News, project that Democrat Jones, ahead of Moore on percentage points to become the next Senator from Alabama, will probably prevail. Don’t bet on it. The pollsters predicted with certainty that Hillary Clinton would be the next president by a landslide. Hummn?
People lie to pollsters including on-line polls directed to supposedly party loyalists. Voters are beginning to recognize the skewed types of questions designed to produce a desired outcome so, they lie! The President uses this process in reverse. He “tweets,” early in the mornings, and sets the his day’s agenda, while the Democrats and the media go berserk trying to figure out just what he meant but, coming from Trump it must have been bad! Elizabeth Warren rose to his tweet bait today with his “Pocahontas” remark, once again revealing herself as a fool. Trump therefore, controls the agenda while we are treated to the medias dysfunction.
In our current dilemma of tax reform, the Democrats cannot retreat from their constant claim that America is Capitalist and greedy but, they can’t explain why half of the population is subsidized and the subsidized half are victims. Victims of what, Capitalism? Yet Republicans, uncertain of the way the wind blows, dither about in confusion and inaction and get nothing accomplished. Indecision is as deadly as incompetence.
Remember, freedom is the goal, the Constitution is the way. Now, go get ‘em! (28Nov17)

Speaker Ralston Attends Trump’s Infrastructure Announcement
News, Politics February 12, 2018
ATLANTA – Speaker David Ralston (R-Blue Ridge) attended President Trump’s infrastructure announcement at The White House this morning. Speaker Ralston was one of several local and state elected officials invited to participate in a series of discussions with the President as well as members of his cabinet and senior staff about the plan and the infrastructure needs facing our nation.
“I appreciate President Trump’s emphasis on public-private partnerships, as well as rural areas of America, as we look to address the nation’s infrastructure needs,” said Speaker Ralston. “Much like his Tax Cuts & Jobs Act, this measure will make a real difference in projects of profound economic importance like the Savannah Harbor Expansion Project or long-overdue efforts like expanding broadband infrastructure into rural areas. This is another example of President Trump focusing on creating jobs and expanding economic opportunity across our country. I am honored to represent the State of Georgia at this important announcement.”
President Trump’s infrastructure plan looks to leverage the power of public-private partnerships to improve the nation’s infrastructure including transportation, water/sewer and other critical needs like broadband internet access. More details on the President’s plan are available on The White House website at http://www.whitehouse.gov.

Short Takes – Part II – Clinton’s Demise, She Did It
Opinion December 13, 2017
Clinton’s Demise, She Did It, End of an Era…
July, 2017 was when FBI Dir. Comey made his stunning announcement. A few short weeks later the allegations of a Trump-Russian collusion surfaced, supported by a phony but damning dossier called the Fusion GPS report. That report set in motion the Mueller witch hunt, hailed by the media, to prove that Trump colluded with the Russians. FISA search warrants were sought and issued, based on the strength of that false report. Mueller was empowered to investigate the claimed collusion and bring an end to that awful Donald Trump’s presidency. But alas, as “the best laid schemes o’ mice and men gang aft agley.” …(Robert Burns), nothing nefarious could be attached to Trump’s pre-inauguration administration. But lo! it did to Hillary Clinton’s. Is it being ignored now? If so, why?
The Fusion GPS report, exposed for the fraud it is, was the creation, as we now know, paid for by the Clinton/DNC. One would think the “Fruit of the Poisonous Tree” doctrine would apply here and render any evidence collected under the false swearing by the FBI (S/A Strzok), using that report to obtain their FISA warrants Invalid, and mark the entire Mueller case, even the piddly charge against General Flynn, untenable in any court of law. Let’s hope so.
So, what is to be done about “Crooked Hillary” and her team of criminal abetters and co-conspirators, including those at the head of the FBI and DoJ? This would be a direct attack on the “Deep State.” Keep in mind that when Hillary used special ‘software’ as a tool to “scrub” her email server to ensure nothing incriminating could ever be found on it again, she was, by intention, concealing evidence of a crime, which is also chargeable as Obstructing Justice.
Former FBI Director Comey abetted Hillary’s crimes with the apparent collaboration of Loretta Lynch and FBI agent Peter Strzok. They are exposed as deep state Clinton partisans. FBI
Agent Strzok’s conduct was especially egregious because he not only edited Comey’s public remarks by removing the two offending criminal words, “grossly negligent,” and replaced them with words not deemed criminal. Too, he actively conducted the major interviews of personalities involved in the investigation, effectively nullifying their criminal involvement except for Gen. Flynn. Sounds very much like a rigged game as Trump has claimed.
Hillary, and her campaign staff, free of possible indictment and realizing that Trump could actually win, launched their full court press and media campaign using the phony Fusion-GPS report to tie Putin and Trump together in the public’s eye as collaborators that denied Hillary Clinton her ‘Prize.’ The Democratic establishment, especially Hillary Clinton, figured the best way to hide the fact that Hillary and Russia were in cahoots themselves, was to shift the idea that it was actually Trump colluding with the Russians instead. That explains the Russian Lawyer meeting Trump Jr., and their claims that Gen. Flynn conspired with the Russian ambassador and whatever else they could make stick.
We’re a full year past the election and the Clinton/DNC campaign to destroy Trump, while in tatters, is still trying. Even at this late date, the Clinton News Network (CNN) launched a breathless expose’ based on a phony Wikileaks email they claimed proved Trump’s collusion. Oops! It blew up right in their face as fake news, smearing the other liberal networks as well.
Isn’t it time Hillary should go to trial? The only remaining question is when is the DoJ and the FBI really going to start their investigation into the RICO challenged Clinton Foundation? We’re waiting! Opening that Pandora’s Box should really be enlightening, don’t you think?

Senator David Perdue Discusses President Trump’s Economic Agenda On Bloomberg TV
“It’s high time we tell the rest of the world what’s important to American workers and American businesses”
WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senator David Perdue (R-GA) spoke with David Westin on Bloomberg TV’s Daybreak America about the positive impact President Trump’s agenda is having on our economy, American workers, and American businesses.
Accomplishing Job One: “We are already seeing growth. President Trump said job one was growing the economy. He focused on three things. First was the regulatory work. Last year, we reversed around 860 rules and regulations. Second was unleashing our energy potential. We opened up oil exploration in Alaska and addressed Waters of the U.S. and Clean Power Plan regulations. The third was tax. President Trump accomplished the three things he deemed important to grow the economy.”
Growing The Economy: “We have had two quarters of 3% growth and we’re about to have a third in my opinion. Now that we have tax in play we are going to see a continuation of this in 2018. The President has jumpstarted and grown this economy.”
Negotiating Fairer Agreements: “There are things that are problematic with NAFTA. They can be solved, and I think the President is focused on fixing those problems. We need a level playing field, and President Trump wants to have equal access to all of these markets.”
Fighting For American Interests: “President Trump is willing to take a risk to stand up for American interests. President Trump has made it clear that we know what’s important to the rest of the world because they’ve been telling us for 30 years. It’s high time we tell the rest of the world what’s important to American workers and American businesses.”
Recognizing Debt Crisis: “We’ve had four increases in the federal funds rate in the last 15 months. Even worse, over the last eight years during the Obama Administration when interest rates were fundamentally zero, they didn’t go long in our bond portfolio. The duration of most of our $20 trillion debt portfolio is under three years. So this is going to come rolling on our backs. If interest rates were at their 30-year average of about 5%, we’d be paying about $1 trillion a year in interest. That just isn’t going to happen on a $4 trillion budget. We’re in a crisis mode.”

Senator David Perdue Comments On Confirmation Of President Trump’s Judicial Nominees
State & National November 6, 2017 , by Admin AssistantSenator David Perdue Comments On Confirmation Of President Trump’s Judicial Nominees
“These judges will help shape the direction of the courts for years to come.”
WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senator David Perdue (R-GA) comments on the United States Senate’s work to confirm President Trump’s judicial nominees:
“The United States Senate has been stalled by historic obstruction from Senate Democrats. Despite this partisan gridlock, we confirmed Justice Neil Gorsuch to the Supreme Court earlier this year, and have since confirmed 15 judicial nominees, including eight judges to the powerful United States Circuit Courts. These judges will help shape the direction of the courts for years to come. Unlike most things in Washington, we are moving quickly to get more judges in place. By comparison, in Obama’s first year in office, only three Circuit Court judges were confirmed. While we are making significant progress, there is still a lot more work to be done. President Trump has been in office for 10 months now and still doesn’t have his full team in place. Washington needs to pick up the pace and get all of President Trump’s nominees confirmed as quickly as possible.”
