Suspects arrested after armed robbery at Cleveland convenience store

CLEVELAND, Ga. — Saturday (May 23) at approximately 6:18 pm, a male subject entered the Chevron Convenience Store on East Kytle Street in the City of Cleveland brandishing two firearms and demanding money.

The Clerk handed over the requested items and the subject left the scene getting into a small white car with a female driver with dark hair. Arriving Officers were able to get a description of the car and gave a lookout to the surrounding counties.

A short time later a Habersham County Deputy saw a car matching the description given and conducted a traffic stop. The subjects were detained for responding units from the Cleveland Police Department.

The suspects were subsequently arrested for armed robbery. The male suspect was identified as Giovanni E Annucci- Romero , age 22 of New Jersey. The female suspect was identified as Terrisa Thammavongra, age 22 of Alto, GA.
No one was injured during the incident or during the arrest. The stolen money and two guns were recovered.
