K9 alerts police to discover fentanyl
Featured Stories August 30, 2023 , by Emma DunnPRESS RELEASE – On August 24, 2023 at around 6:50pm, White County Sheriff’s Deputies stopped a 2013 Ford F 150 for a brake light violation on Duncan Bridge Rd.
During the traffic stop, a K9 conducted a free air sniff of the vehicle and alerted. During the search, several drugs were located including crack cocaine, heroin, methamphetamine, marijuana, and over 4 grams of Fentanyl.
Agents with the Appalachian Regional Drug Enforcement Office responded to the traffic stop.
After their investigation. Jarred William Seabolt age 36 of Demorest was arrested and charged with the following:
Possession of Schedule IV (Alprazolam)
Possession of Methamphetamine
Possession of Cocaine
Trafficking in Cocaine; illegal drugs or methamphetamine
