Planning Commission to hold public hearings today

WHITE COUNTY, Ga. – The White County Planning Commission will hold the first public hearings of the New Year Monday (Jan. 3) in at 6 p.m. in the Senior Center at 1239 Helen Highway in Cleveland. The Commission will consider:
- Charles Clinton’s request to redistrict 4.77 acres on Corporate Drive in Cleveland, from A-1 Agriculture Forestry District to I- Industrial District;
- Daniel Rogers’ request on behalf of D&B Properties of Cleveland, LLC, to redistrict 2.17 acres located at Lot 9 Wild Turkey Trail in Cleveland from R-1 Residential Single Family to R-3 Residential Seasonal District. Proposed use is to be placed in “Short Term Rental” program;
- Michael Gibbs’ request for a conditional use permit on 7.31 acres on Duncan Bridge Road in Cleveland. Proposed use is to place in “Short Term Rental” program;
- Michael Gibbs’ request for a conditional use permit on 14.13 acres on Duncan Bridge Road in Cleveland. Tax map and parcel 058C-105. Proposed use is to place in “Short Term Rental” program. Present use is R-1 Residential Single-Family District.
- Application of Union Grove Campground to redistrict 10.53 acres located at 80 Tabernacle Road in Cleveland from R-1 Residential Single Family to A-1 Agriculture Forestry District.
- Application of Greg Crumley to request a conditional use permit on 3.56 acres at 591 Dock Dorsey Road Cleveland. Proposed use is to place in “Short Term Rental” program.
