Cleveland City Council will hold hearing on millage rate Monday

CLEVELAND, Ga. — The Cleveland City Council will hold a public hearing on the 2021 millage rate when it meets Monday at 6:30 p.m. in the Cleveland Community Center, 342 Campbell Street.
After Hall County Public Safety Director David Murphy presents the Hazard Mitigation Plan, Council will vote to adopt a resolution on the plan.
Police Chief Jeff Shoemaker will present the statistics for the month of June, request the purchase of a vehicle with funds from the Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax (SPLOST).
City Manager Tom O’Bryant will lead a discussion on short term rentals.
