White County Emergency Management will use CODE RED to deliver message

WHITE COUNTY, Ga. — In partnership with the Health Department, Emergency Management will use the emergency notification system beginning Monday evening (May 17th) to call residents and deliver the following message:
“COVID 19 VACCINE NOW AVAILABLE AT THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT, MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY, FOR EVERYONE OVER THE AGE OF 12 YEARS OLD. APPOINTMENTS NOT REQUIRED. CALL 706-219-7891 FOR MORE INFORMATION.”
We have established a call center within the EOC to answer these calls, staffed by the CERT program. These members will have bullet points of information and request if the person or family has any idea of when they may come to the health department. The call center will be open from 8AM to 8PM, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and till 5PM on Friday. All after hour calls will be sent to the EMA office for follow up the next business day.
