WHITE COUNTY, Ga. — A White County home was completely destroyed by fire Friday afternoon but no injuries were reported.

White County with automatic aid from Helen Fire, and mutual aid from Lee Arrendale Fire Brigade responded to a residential fire on Tray Mountain at 251 Back Packer Trail, Friday April 30th at 2:45 p.m.

Units arrived on scene to find a 1,000 square foot house that was already collapsed and all occupants were outside. Approximately 3 acres of forestry area burned with US and Georgia forestry responding to assist.

The cause of fire is undetermined. Units were on the scene for approximately 4.5 hours.
