Fire damages home on Partin Road

WHITE COUNTY, Ga. — White County Fire Services were dispatched to a residential fire at 317 Partin Rd in Cleveland at 12:37 p.m. Friday, Jan. 29.

County fire stations 4, 5, 2 and mutual aid from City of Cleveland Fire responded to the incident.  Upon arrival of first unit, found a two-story approximately 2,000 square foot wood frame structure 30 percent involved.

Firefighters quickly made interior attack and contained the fire to one room with contents.   The rest of the structure received heat and smoke damage.

The Red Cross was called for the occupants, three adults and four children lived at the home, and were away at the time of the fire.  No injuries were reported.  White County CERT team responded to assist and the fire remains under investigation.
