CLEVELAND, Ga. – White County authorities do not suspect foul play in the missing person case of 49-year-old Bobby Levesque of Cleveland.

“Mr. Levesque was apparently living out of his car and was last seen on Aug. 23 when he was working on a job refinishing hardwood floors,” White County Criminal Investigations Commander Capt. Rick Kelley said Wednesday morning. “We don’t suspect foul play at this time.”

But Kelley added there are no new leads at this time.

Levesque does not have any family in the area and was reported missing by a female friend on Sept. 9. There was also an unconfirmed report that he was seen walking south bound on Helen Highway.

The missing man’s vehicle — a 2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer — was found abandoned on Lynch Mountain Road and was towed. Friends of Levesque, aided by a K-9 from White County, searched that area last week, but did not discover any evidence that would lead to his whereabouts.

Levesque is described as 5’10, approximately 150 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes. The last time he was seen, he was sporting a full beard.
