He attended Albany High School and graduated from Georgia Southwestern State University. Rick was a loyal and passionate Georgia Bulldog fan, rarely missing a home game at Sanford Stadium. Rick was a member of the Rotary International and was a former Paul Harris Fellow Award winner with his club in Cleveland. Rick adored Lake Burton and boating with his friends, cherished his time at St. Simons with family and friends, and revered the time that he spent in Marathon, Florida.
