White County Schools set to approve FY 2020 budget

CLEVELAND, Ga. –The White County School Board members have a full slate of agenda items on tap when they meet Thursday (June 27) at 6 p.m., including the adoption of the fiscal year 2020 budget.
The tentative general fund budget is $41,118,427. Expenditures will exceed revenue by about $988179. The tentative overall budget of $58,095,086. Expenditures will exceed revenue by about $748,861.
Action items on the agenda include approval of:
Time and date changes of Board of Education July meetings:
Family Connections Contract for FY 20;
CTAE Grant Applications for FY 20;
FY 20 BOE Training Plan;
May Financial & Budget Report;
FY 20 Salary Schedule & Supplements;
Field Trips for WCHS;
Declare equipment from JPN as used/worn out in service and authorize disposition;
Remove from table and rescind BOE Policies DCCB and DJD;
Remove from table and approve BOE Policies DCK and DFC;
First reading and table to approve in July;
DJE – Purchasing;
EEE – Wellness Program;
IFCB – Field Trips and Excursions;
Approve first reading and table to rescind in July;
EBD – Heating & Lighting;
IED – Scheduling of Instruction;
IEDA – Unstructured Break Time.
