CLEVELAND, Ga. – White County authorities arrested Oscar Rene Escobar, 43, of Gainesville last week. He is charged with felony theft by taking, giving deputies a false identity and driving on a suspended license.

Deputy Tim Casey was patrolling in the area of Duncan Bridge Road when he spotted a motorist changing a tire on a truck backed into the driveway at 8980 Duncan Bridge.
