Murrayville woman injured in crash on SR 115

WHITE COUNTY, Ga. – A rain-soaked highway and a hydroplaning vehicle sent a Murrayville woman to Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville with undisclosed injuries Sunday.

According to a Georgia State Patrol incident report, Joyce Cain-Bragg, 73, was driving on State Road 115 west of its intersection with Thomason Road when her 2011 Lincoln Town Car hydroplaned and veered toward the shoulder of the roadway.

The report indicates the vehicle traveled off the roadway and into a ditch rotated twice then struck the ditch, rotated clockwise then rolled onto its roof.

Cain-Bragg was transported to Northeast Georgia Medical Center by White County Emergency Services.
