Theron S. Patterson, Sr., age 77 of Cleveland, passed away on Thursday, September 21, 2017 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

Mr. Patterson was born on November 1, 1939, in Mason, Michigan, to the late Meredith Amos and Maribel Prine Patterson. He was self-employed in the construction business and formerly worked in farming. Theron was preceded in death by his brother, Howard Patterson; and sister, Kathleen Benjamin.

Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth L. Patterson, Cleveland; sons, Theron Patterson, Jr. and Christopher J. Patterson; daughters, Laura M. Patterson, Mary C. Patterson, Melody Ann Patterson Chaffin, and Joellen Lynn Patterson Merritt; sister, Shelia Cole; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
