James Lyn Holcomb Indicted for Murder

CLEVELAND, Ga. — The Cleveland man who struck and killed 3-year-old Easton Levi Cain with his pickup truck in the Ingles parking lot was indicted by a White County Grand Jury Tuesday.
Thirty-six-year-old James Lyn Holcomb was indicted on three counts of first degree vehicular homicide, reckless driving, driving with an expired license and no proof of insurance.

Holcomb is no stranger to law enforcement. He was arrested for DUI in 2001 when he was legally under age and again in 2002, 2003, 2008 and 2013. He was not prosecuted on the first two arrests because the District Attorney’s office allowed the statute of limitations to expire.

The Grand Jury heard 37 cases and returned 37 true bills, including the indictment of Christopher Tyler Courville , 18, and Courtlen Conner Daniel,19, in connection with the shooting death of Savion Williams whose body was found in the basement of a Eagle Ridge home last July.
