Ina “Betty” Hooper Parish, age 90 of Cleveland, passed away Tuesday, October 1, 2019.

Mrs. Parish was born August 29, 1929 in Portsmouth, OH to the late Thomas Grant Hooper and
Laura Fannie Dorsey. Ina retired from Georgia Federal Credit Union and was a member of
Mossy Creek United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by
her husband, Larry Parish.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Doug and Sheila Parish; daughter and son-in-
law, Deborah and Jim Newell; brothers and sisters-in-law, Thomas and Willie Mae Hooper;
Harold and Lucille Hooper; grandchildren and spouses, Kristy and Josh McPherson, Rachael and
Jimmy Adams, Rebecca and Chad Payne, Vanessa West, Ryan and Jeri Lloyd, Jennifer and
Michael Brown, Evelyn and Joe Griffin, Sara and Tim Rausch; great grandchildren, Bailey
McPherson, Emmalee McPherson, Ben Aselton, Gillian Lloyd, Abigail Lloyd, Alexander Lloyd,
Clara Brown, Jonathan Griffin, Eliza Griffin, Lucy Rausch, William Rausch and Tristan Rausch.

Funeral services are scheduled for2:00 PM Saturday, October 5, 2019 at The Chapel of Barrett
Funeral Home. The Rev. John Turlington will officiate. Interment will follow at Mossy Creek United
Methodist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 12-2 PM Saturday at the funeral home prior to the service.
