CLEVELAND, Ga. – Governor Nathan Deal has announced that White County Chief Magistrate Judge Joy R. Parks has been appointed to fill a vacancy in the Enotah Judicial Circuit that was created when Judge Murphy C. Miller resigned.
Parks, who owns her own law firm, earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Georgia and a law degree from Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University.
Parks, her husband Robert and one child reside in Cleveland.
The Enotak Judicial District includes White, Lumpkin, Towns and Union counties.
