WHITE COUNTY, Ga. — White County deputies arrested 37-year-old Phillip Gillenwater of Cleveland Wednesday, following a domestic violence incident at 23 Bear Lovers Court.
When deputies arrived at the scene, Gillenwater’s mother was visibly injured and he was still in the residence, but refused to exit or communicate. Deputies obtained warrants, entered the home and, although he continued to resist or communicate, he was taken into custody.
He is charged with aggravated assault, obstruction of law enforcement officers and battery.
