WHITE COUNTY, Ga. — White County Board of Commissioners will advertise for a called meeting Thursday, Aug. 4 at 9 am to consider a full millage rate rollback to 9.505 from the current 10.75.
Commissioner Terry Goodger proposed the rollback, and the other commissioners agreed it is a good idea considering the difficulties many families are facing due to the recession.
