BOC will approve district maps during rare Thursday meeting

WHITE COUNTY, Ga. – The White County Board of Commissioners will hold a rare Thursday meeting tomorrow to conduct a public hearing on the revise White County voting map for the Board of Commissioners and Board of Education to reflect the 2020 Census results.

Other items to be considered by the Board include:

  • The land use application filed by Gregory Chastain to redistrict 7.09 aces located at 250 Hogan Road in Cleveland from Agriculture Forestry to Residential Single Family;
  • The purchase of replacement apparatus for Fire Engine No. 2;
  • The purchase of softward for use by Public Works, Code Enforcement and Animal Control.
