Pedestrian killed while crossing SR 75

WHITE COUNTY, Ga. — A Gainesville woman was killed when she was struck by a Nissan Frontier as she attempted to cross Hwy. 75 south of Tom Bell Road Saturday.

According to Georgia State Patrol Corporal Bronson Taylor, 63-year-old Rosa Alba Perez was walking east, across Hwy. 75, not in a crosswalk when she was struck by the Nissan Frontier pickup truck.
