Ruby Kathryn Meaders: Obituary

Ruby Kathryn Meaders, age 101 of Cleveland, passed away on Tuesday, May 1, 2018.

Mrs. Meaders was born on June 21, 1916, in Cleveland, Georgia, to the late Lester Calvin and Lydia Jane Shuler Stovall. She was a supervisor at Sears and Roebuck and was a member of Northside Wesleyan Church. Ruby was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Bell Meaders; son, James Calvin Meaders, Sr.; sister, Lizzie Mae Cooley;

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Marilyn Jane and Robert D. Frye; son, Jerry Frank Meaders, Sr.; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 PM Friday, May 4, 2018 at the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Gary Heffner will officiate. Interment will follow at Mossy Creek United Methodist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home.
