CLEVELAND, Ga. – It’s qualifying week for the May 22 General Primary Election. In White County, there are two Board of Commissioner seats and two seats on the Board of Education that will be contested. Mike Boswell and incumbent Lyn Holcomb qualified to run in the District 2 Board of Commissioners race.
Incumbent Edwin Nix qualified to run for re-election to his District 3 commissioner post.
In District 2 of the Board of Education, the qualifiers were incumbent Charlie Bryson and challenger Carly Adam. In District 4 Monday’s only qualifier was incumbent Barry Vandiver.
