Mr. James Henry Schmitt: Obituary

James Henry Schmitt age 73, of Helen passed away Thursday April 20, 2017.

Mr. Schmitt was born in Walker County the son of the late Elmer Austin and Lorene Green Schmitt. He was preceded in death by a son, Anthony Schmitt.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Schmitt, Helen; daughters, Doris Skelton, Sautee. Wanda Foster, Cleveland, Connie Adams, Clarkesville; sons, Rodney Schmitt, Rocky Face, Stanley Thrift, Atlanta, Terry Thrift, Helen; sisters, Nancy Gregory, Mattie Jones, both of Cleveland; 4 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held at 2 pm Sunday April 23, 2017 at the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Chris Anderson will officiate.

The family will receive friends after the service on Sunday.
