Mr. George Thomas Warwick: Obituary

George Thomas Warwick, age 63, of Cleveland passed away Thursday January 19, 2017.

Mr. Warwick was born in White County the son of the late Oscar B. and Marie Brown Warwick. He was preceded in death by his wife, Melitta Warwick and brother, Willie Warwick. Mr. Warwick was a member of Mt. View Baptist Church.

Survivors include his daughter, Melissa D. Jones, Cornelia; grandchildren, Ashley Byrd, Amber Warwick; great grandchildren, Braxton Byrd, Riley Shope; sisters, Evelyn Freeman, Cornelia, Patricia Weidner, Dahlonega; sister and brother–in-law, Brenda and Ray Reed, Cleveland; brothers, Claude Warwick, Gainesville; brother and sister-in-law, Ed and Marie Warwick, Marietta; sister-in-law, Bernice Warwick, Cornelia.

Memorial services will be held at 2 pm Sunday January 22, 2017 at the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Jason Hester will officiate. Interment will be at Mt. View Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends 12-2 pm Sunday prior to the service at the funeral home.
