Flu Shots Now Available at Health Dept.

CLEVELAND, Ga. – The White County Health Department now has flu shots available from 8 a.m until 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday and from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday.

With kids starting back to school and flu season right around the corner, now is the best time to have them vaccinated against these common ailments.

This year, the health department will again offer flu vaccinations for students and teachers at White County Schools. Look for more information from your school about this opportunity to get vaccinated on September 27, 28 or 29.

The flu vaccine is the first and most important step in protecting against flu viruses and it is especially important for certain people, who are at more risk from flu-related complications to get immunized
