Christmas tree recycling locations in White County
News December 26, 2018CLEVELAND, Ga. – Christmas 2018 is in the books and some folks are already thinking about a drop-off site where they can recycle their Christmas tree. Residents of the cities of Cleveland and Helen as well as White County have a choice of four locations.
Starting today (Dec. 26), the drop-off spots include the parking lot behind City Hall Annex on South Main Street and Henderson Street. In Helen, residents can utilize the parking lot at the intersection of Edelwiess and Chattahoochee. White County residents can take trees to the White County Convenience Center 519 Hulsey Road or the White County Transfer Station south of Cleveland.
There is no cost to recycle Christmas trees. The only restrictions are that all decorations must be removed from the tree and no artificial trees will be accepted.
Any organization that would like to pick up the recycled trees are encouraged to do so by calling 706-865-6768.
